All our partners that we link with for respite care offer the ability for the veteran and sometimes their family to get away into the country, to disappear from society and to just be.

To be able to reflect, go back to grass roots and just reflect on where they are at and where they want to be. Its just like “time out” which can be so difficult to find in the normal speed of life.

What our partners offer is :

• The ability to access solitude if needed
• Or support from humans or animals within the environment
• Sports and hobbies to do something different
• A chance to just sit down and talk with someone who doesn’t know you and wont judge.
• The opportunity to do nothing if this is what is needed for you to repair.

What is important is that we place you where you get chance to recover, to find yourself, to reconnect with your family.

Currently we are partnered with Woody’s Lodge in order to be able to provide this service to all Veterans, we will be looking for more partners all around the country in order to provide this crucial service improving mental health and improving lives.
