Army Veteran Alan Walker Fitted With New Hearing Aids.

Alan Walker served in the 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment 1977 to 1986 and was exposed to loud noises.

Mr Walker was found to have symmetrical bilateral normal sloping mild to moderate sensorineural hearing loss. He also suffered very badly with tinnitus, and could not bock this out.
Alan struggled with his hearing on a daily basis, he had the volume on the television up loud which was to loud for those around him. Background noise for Mr Walker was also an issue for him as he was unable to focus on what was being said in front of him as its to noisy.

He has now been Fitted with a pair of GN Resound Quattro level 9 hearing technology as they will provide Mr Walker with a clear and rich sound. The Quattro technology will automatically adjust to any environment so as and when Mr Walker does venture out, it will support him in controlling the environmental sounds around him. He is also technically capable and therefore can control the hearing aids with the app and keep his levels of volume pleasant in his surroundings. The tinnitus feature will be a huge bonus as he can use this on his bad days to control his levels of tinnitus. The streaming feature from his phone will also allow him to play music etc to drown out the tinnitus as and when he needs. We also suggest a TV streamer as the TV apart from his family is his main form of entertainment, and spending a lot of time in will mean he can turn the TV down low, and stream through his aids
