Woodys is also developing a network of urban based Drop-in-Centres for “town living” veterans, with seven sited in principal towns in North Wales and a further four to open in South Wales in 2020. Woody’s Support Officers specialise in enabling veterans to access benefits, pensions and housing, via one on one engagement where they support the individual/family through each stage of these often complicated processes until a successful outcome is achieved. A central part of their work leads them to engage with other Armed Forces Support, Public Support and Statutory Agencies, through this we are able to signpost our users to specialist organisations.
