As we come to the end of our funded project, we want to take a moment to reflect on the journey and express our sincere thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund for making it all possible.
We’ve been able to deliver meaningful and life-changing support to veterans living with hearing loss.
Over the course of the project, we have:
- Supported veterans with access to hearing assessments and tailored interventions
- Delivered outreach events to raise awareness about hearing health in the veteran community
- Distributed assistive hearing devices and offered practical advice to improve daily life
- Worked closely with local partners to ensure long-term support is in place beyond this project
The Impact
One of the most powerful outcomes of this project has been seeing how access to hearing support can transform lives. Veterans who once felt isolated or disconnected are now re-engaging with their communities, families, and social circles. Confidence has grown. Independence has returned. And most importantly, voices are being heard.
Although this particular project has reached its end, the impact will continue. We remain committed to supporting veterans with hearing needs and advocating for better awareness, access, and services.
