The UK Veterans Hearing Foundation has been named as Best Veterans Hearing Support Charity 2026 in the SME News UK Enterprise Awards.
SME News is now in its ninth year; the awards recognise organisations and individuals across the UK for their recent performance, dedication, and contribution to their respective sectors. The winners are selected by then on merit following an independent research and judging process. This national recognition reflects the Foundation’s continued work to support former members of the Armed Forces living with hearing loss and tinnitus.
Making hearing support accessible to veterans
Hearing difficulties often affect far more than communication; they influence confidence, relationships, work and day-to-day well-being. Yet there are many veterans who are struggling to access suitable hearing care or face lengthy waits for the support they need. At UK Veterans Hearing Foundation, we help eligible veterans access hearing assessments, hearing devices and personalised support. The charity works with hearing care professionals across the country, helping veterans receive the care closer to their homes.
Through our Gifted Hearing Aid Pathway and growing range of tinnitus support, we aim to improve access to practical solutions based on each veteran’s individual needs.
